BIT 410/510: Core Technologies in Molecular and Cellular Biology
Basic technologies of recombinant DNA procedures, gene expression, isolation, and identification of nucleic acids and proteins.​
Laboratory experiences included: subcloning, preparation of competent cells, transformation, screening recombinant DNA by colony hybridization and PCR, SDS-PAGE of recombinant protein, affinity purification, and western blots.
MB 585: Industry Case Studies in Microbial Biotechnology
Serving as the backbone of the MMB program, this course involves collaboration, consulting experience, and the development of professional skills. Students engage in two group practicum projects per semester, one of which is an industry partnership. Teaching Assistantship: General Microbiology Lab (Fall 2020 - Present)
I work to instill in students the same love for microbiology that I have by teaching two sections of General Microbiology Lab. My duties include introducing the students to the material, answering course content questions, and evaluating (grading) their quizzes, interactives, and papers.*
