The Master's of Microbial Biotechnology is a two-year, non-thesis program that incorporates technical science with MBA-level coursework and practicum projects to prepare its students for entry into bioscience industries. Close to Research Triangle Park, the MMB program has established connections with leading experts at the forefront of innovation, and students take advantage of this by engaging in immersive industry experiences in a variety of areas. To further encourage professional growth, students also participate in an internship between their first and second years.
